HAPPY JUNE!

Dazed and Confused

is one of my all-time favorite films, and I watch it once a year! The first time I saw the movie was back in 2006, the summer before my freshman year of highschool, and since then it’s reminded me of being a teenager, hot shorts, and the summer sunshine. I adore the film so much that I know it takes place on May 28th! I’ll definitely be re-watching it on Monday. I’m in love with Kevin Pickford ;]

Electric Raspberry’s summer 2012 to-do list:

-build a fort in the backyard with a cute boy, eat strawberries dipped in raw sugar

-go boogie boarding, stay late at the ocean, bring blankets and admire the stars

-chase down an ice cream truck for soft serve or Good Humor strawberry shortcake bars

-go through old magazines and tear out pages for inspiration

-host a 7-minutes-in-heaven party, play Twister, hand out LIP SMACKERS

-cut old jeans into shorts, distress them and tye-dye t-shirts

-clean out your closet and have your friends clean out there’s, throw a yard sale

-stock up on ice cream, Maraschino cherries, cold milk, and whipped cream, make milkshakes

-lay out by the pool, wear heart-shaped sunglasses, read a novel while you chew Bubblicious

-invite your friends over for a backyard barbecue, make ambrosia salad, hoola hoop

-download all of the songs you loved as a kid, burn a mix cd, dance dance dance

-stick glow stars to your bedroom ceiling

-put on your cutest swimsuit, play in the hose

-plan a water balloon and shaving cream fight, use Zinka sunscreen as war paint
