  • Once again, I can’t answer every question I receive, so here are about 50 :]

For those of you who have been asking: I included some modeling photos

    I am right now! :]

Congratulations on the prospect of marriage! That’s really special and I think that it’s important to bare in mind how much you love your girlfriend. If you’re considering marriage, that is a tremendous step and really communicates how much you care for her. As for your religious dilemma, have you ever considered blending faiths? I was raised in a mixed faith home and my parents were very open about religion and the differences between various faiths. You may want to consider combining your religions and tailoring them to your new family. I would try and use faith to strengthen your possible marriage and future family, not divide them. I hope that my answer is helpful!

Alright! I’ll find a time when I can sign on to aim and I will post on Tumblr so that you guys know when I’ll be available to chat :]

I’m flattered that you’d like to see some of my artwork! I will look through what I have and scan some for you. Regarding tips, I suggest working constantly. With any artistic medium, you’ll find that there will be times that you feel uninspired. The best thing to do is to continue working, even if it’s not your best at first, and eventually you’ll find your stride. Try experimenting in new mediums as well and it may help to broaden your mind and your artistic appetite.

Thank you for your compliment! It’s so nice to hear that I am viewed by someone in such a positive way. Personally, I think that carefully choosing your words and speaking with confidence is important. I hope, in life, to always come across as well-spoken and diplomatic. For me, when a situation is tense or someone upsets me, I choose to remain poised, and I feel better for it afterwards.

Thank you! I love writing and I really enjoy hearing feedback about my text posts from my followers. For summer reading I would suggest anything written by Francesca Lia Block. I also love the book A Homemade Life by Molly Wizenberg, the blogger behind Orangette. I would also suggest Summer Sisters, as I’ve heard that it’s a great read, though I haven’t read it myself.

Gosh, I feel embarrassed answering this one, but at the same time, bra size is just an average component to every woman’s body and I don’t see why it makes a difference what the size is.

    I’m a 34B

I don’t find this question odd at all! I don’t have any methods that I practice specifically to boost my confidence, but I do know a few things that help. When I’m feeling negative about an aspect of my personality, or something in my life that isn’t going as planned, I choose to think about the things that I’m doing simultaneously that are positive. Sometimes I’ll read an old journal entry about a day where I was feeling very up. If it’s a day where physically I just feel blah [we ALL have those days], then I’ll try and remember that the feeling will pass and I focus on something creative, or I distract myself with a film or a small task to help me feel accomplished in another way.

    haha, thank you? :]

Oh gosh! What an awful thought. Well, if he was solely a “cute” boy, and I didn’t enjoy his sense of humor or gain any intellectual stimulation from him, then I would not pursue anything with him beyond friendship. Kissing is an important component in being romantically involved with someone! You should enjoy kissing them :]

This is really sad. I honestly can’t think of one dirty joke.

This is the go-to joke that I tell everyone:

“A bunch of strings decided to go to a club one night, but when they got to the door the bouncer said “Hey! No strings allowed!”. The strings were upset, and they attempted to get in, but the bouncer refused. So, the strings began ripping threads and tying themselves up! They then approached the entrance once again, and the bouncer said “Hey, I thought I told you, no strings allowed!”, and one of the strings responded “I’m a frayed knot.”

I would purchase a ton of magazines to make inspirational collages. Or, purchase some cheap but pretty frames, paint them and distress them however you’d like, and frame photos from magazines or poems that you love. Keep the color scheme neutral for the most part to open up the space. But, add pops of color in accents like throw pillows. Use texture to add a fun element to your bed [ruffles, faux fur]. A fun DIY project would be to attach vintage door knobs to a framed bulletin board. Use it to display your necklaces!

0 or 2, depending on the store and the cut of the dress.

vintage rock tees, an oversized sweater, the perfect little black dress, ballet flats, a good pair of slim-legged jeans, oversized sunglasses, a cozy pair of UGGS [for sleepovers, camping, and bumming around your house], a pair of high heels, a cute vintage sundress

Ahh, I want to visit Europe so badly. I MUST go to Paris and visit Versailles as well as the Petit Trianon. Obviously I would have to visit both the Eiffel Tower as well as The Louvre. Perhaps the Moulin Rouge. I would want to picnic in a park and eat Laduree macarons. In England I would hope to enjoy British tea and remain well mannered during the day, and in the evening go clubbing and flirt with cute British boys.

First, thank you for the compliment :] As far as eating, I try to eat a balanced diet and I enjoy a variety of healthier foods. I love oatmeal, nuts, both fresh and dried fruit, veggies and hummus, PEANUT BUTTER, pan fried salmon and chicken, roasted potatoes, stir fries, refried beans with sauteed bell peppers, frozen yogurt…

Now, in all honesty, I don’t exercise. I truly don’t. There is no workout equipment or scale in my house. I actually would like to be someone who exercises regularly, because I’m told it really boosts your mood! But, as of right now, I don’t exercise.

    I really don’t, haha

I follow maybe a handful of people, and the reason why I am so “picky” is because when my blog first began to gain popularity I started receiving messages asking to follow people. I feel terrible following some and not others, so what I decided to do instead was to remain neutral and not follow anyone. You’ll notice on my instagram as well that I am only following my sister.

    Peanut butter.

A close second would be cheesecake, heath bar, or pumpkin.

    Oh gosh, let’s see…

I hope to have a career that I love. I would like to have a husband or a man that I am in love with as well as at least one child. I hope to be happy.

I would keep the conversation light in the beginning. Mention something universal that pertains to the present. For example, the two of you are at a party, you can say “so, how do you know ‘name-of-person-throwing-party’?” For me, I like when guys are gregarious and open. If a girl isn’t feeling romantically interested she’ll find a way to make it clear. Just give it your all and talk about what makes you comfortable. Be yourself, that’s most important.

Ooh, I adore the 50s and early 60s. I’m fond of the 70s as well, but the 50s and 60s I love. I’m also fond of some elements of 90s fashion. I like platform shoes, floral dresses with boots, chokers, grunge, Clueless and My So-Called Life style :]

As for style icons: Audrey Hepburn and her timeless class and beauty, The Olsens, Edie Sedgwick, Rachel Bilson has great casual wear. I love so many models, but to name a few…Ana Beatriz Barros, Cintia Dicker, Erin Wasson, Hilary Rhoda, Anja Konstantinova.

Thank you! I’ll shoot some more photos to post :]

Hi there! I don’t go to many “romantic” restaurants, but The Ivy is really a favorite of mine. It’s expensive, but I also find it romantic because it’s intimate, shabby chic, and dimly lit. The food is delicious and the service is wonderful.

I’m under 21, so I’m not the best person to ask for club references, but The Viper Room is fairly iconic. I would go simply to pay homage to River Phoenix.

As for daytime, go to Bottega Louie for lunch, visit Greystone Mansion and picnic on the grass, hit Millions of Milkshakes and create a signature shake!

I’ve never read the book, but I’ve seen both films and I adore them. I would love to see a designer create a line inspired by Lolita. Heart-shaped sunnies, overall shorts and babydoll dresses. Imagine how fun the look book would be!

I don’t believe there is a “perfect” age to get married. I think it varies for everyone! But, I do believe that every person deserves time to find themselves and explore on their own before they become a part of a unit.

Thank you so much! I love doing personal posts, I just try not to spam your dash with a bunch of personal content! I’ll try and include a bit more :]

Oh gosh. I really try not to judge people based on factors like these, but I think most people would agree that these qualities could be a bit hard to embrace when you’re romantically involved with someone. I can’t exactly choose one, but I’ll explain my answer. If a guy had crooked teeth, an overbite, or something of that sort I wouldn’t mind at all! If his teeth were discolored or he didn’t brush them regularly, then that would be a no-go. Body hair I don’t really mind. Occasional body odor is pretty normal for men. 24/7 body odor may be a no-go. An “ugly” nose is very subjective. If I was attracted to this guy in every other aspect, then I don’t know how his nose would bother me.

I did not do a shoot for “lookbook” if you mean “lookbook.nu”

But, I’ve done shoots for look books, the photos shot for designer collections :]

Gah, I’m embarrassed, but here you go…

Ahh, this is a super flattering compliment, thank you! The models on NastyGal are beautiful!

Ooh, I love oatmeal. I like it thick and chunky with a lot of different textures.

I typically add a diced apple, about 1/4 cup of raisins, and a large handful of almonds. I’ve also used a sliced banana, sunflower seeds, cashews, peanut butter, and dried cranberries and those are all very good as well!

I’ve received a couple of messages regarding personal content and I’ll be sure to include more :]

I’ll try and update my instagram more as well!

For those of you who use instagram, my username is: amandalynnxo

haha, thank you so much, that’s extremely flattering!

I have photos posted under my “about me” and “personal posts” sections.

I also upload photos through instagram :]

I’ve been asked this question many times before, and I still feel that the best way to gain popularity on your blog is to be yourself and to be honest. Post what inspires you, post what you love, and post your opinions! Tag your photos as well! People were search for different topics and tagging your photos is the easiest way for them to find you :]

I’m so happy that you’re interested in my journal and photography! I’ll do some personal posts to include both :]

I would pair floral shorts with a basic tee in a complimentary color, or a vintage rock tee for a feminine/grunge contrast. You could wear either look with wedges, motorcycle boots, or ballet flats.

    yes haha

    Thank you so much!

I wash my face twice a day with Zest soap. My skin is somewhat dry, so I also wear foundation with built-in spf and moisturizer.

Ah, thank you! That’s very nice of you to say. I love that photo!

Sometimes I miss my platinum blonde hair.

I rarely drink tea, as I prefer coffee. But when I do drink it I’m fond of lemon or raspberry tea with sugar.

    a bit

That’s a good idea! Maybe next time :]

I would love to answer your question, but I really couldn’t begin to suggest a workout for you. I am also not vegetarian or gluten free, so I’m not sure which types of recipes to recommend. I do know one great vegan recipe website that I love called lookbookcookbook! Check that out :] If you’re looking for a wider variety of foods, maybe check foodgawker? Sorry I couldn’t be more helpful!

I don’t, but I’ve always wanted to try! It seems so relaxing and people who practice yoga really seem to enjoy it.
