It’s officially Fall and I can see the seasons changing. Golden leaves. Cool, crisp morning air. Thick knit socks, oversized sweaters. Seasonal flavors of pumpkin, spice cake, maple, cranberry. Warm toast dripping with fruit preserves. Baking fresh pear cake. Movie marathons in bed, browsing Halloween costumes. Cubes of gooey caramel, giant bowls of salted peanuts and sweet candy corn. Baked apples filled with cinnamon candy. Walks on cloudy days.
I loooove your blog! I especially like it when you have those little blurbs describing a feeling or a time, the imagery is gorgeous. And my question is, what do you do during the week? I think that at one point you said you had a job at a store? I'm so curious :]
Thank you so much! I love writing and I really enjoy sharing my personal poems/short stories/lists with my followers. During the week I work as a sales associate/stylist. In addition to that I’m in the process of sorting out funds to further my education. Both of these aspects of my life have been keeping me very busy recently, which is why I haven’t been posting as frequently. In my spare time, I like to spend a lot of time with my family, and I love seeing my friends!
hi amanda, u should totally do a Q&A on a livestream like for example "usream"... ive followed a few and i have to say that its a lot of fun and it would take ur interaction with ur followers to a whole other level...hope u have a nice beginning of fall..

If you could do absolutely anything, achieve any dream, knowing that you couldn't possibly fail, what would it be?
Ahh, it’s difficult to choose! I think I would write a novel of short stories and essays. Knowing that I would be successful in achieving that dream, I plan on using the rewards from my book to raise a wonderful family and purchase a beautiful home to decorate.

what would you suggest for fall shopping clothes essentials if i'm starting college in the northwest where it's rainy/overcast a lot of the time? I love sweaters and everything but i want to mix it up a little bit haha
Ooh, that’s awesome! I would definitely suggest layers. Maybe some tights layered with tall socks in contrasting colors/patterns, and boots. Plaid flannels layered with thermals and a cute jacket or coat. Thick scarves and oversized beanies are great accessories for Fall :]

i saw your earlier post and you HAVE to go to bottega louie! I go to school nearby so I'm there like once a week. hot italian waiters, delicious italian food, white and gold decoration with big open windows, and the best people watching around. XO
